When Ginny takes the caretaker job in the middle of nowhere, as far
from her mother as she could get, she didn't realize she was only
hiding from her problems and not solving them. Now here she is on
Christmas Eve, alone, in the middle of a snowstorm, and single. Then
she sees a television show that changes her life. Finding a half
frozen man outside might not be part of her new plan for the future,
but Ginny is no fool, and when the opportunity arises, she grabs it
with both hands.
Cat Johnson's He Came Upon A Midnight Clear, not only has an
intriguing title, but the story is sweet and perfect for the winter
months. Ginny could be the woman next day, your sister, or you. She
is the ordinary, everyday woman looking for Mister Right in all the
wrong places. If you like happy endings and sweet romances, but hot
love scenes, then you'll like this.
