Lottie is in danger. Someone killed her sister, Maddy, for her ability to see the future and is now after Lottie for her powers. Maddy warned Lottie that she would be in danger on Halloween and needed to find a moose to protect her, but where does a girl find a moose in the middle of Toronto?
I enjoyed Ms. Andrus’s writing style. It was quick and had me smiling in quite a few spots. The dialogue was well written and believable. The suspense angle of the story was extremely predictable, but the unexpected answer to the moose issue was fun and original. I will look for more of Ms. Andrus’s work next time I am in the mood for a quick, fun, slightly offbeat read.
