Wow! This was a real page-turner. The scenes set in the hospital were fast-paced, detailed and exciting, like watching an episode of 'ER'. The events of the first chapter especially will have readers hooked. This was a truly gripping story, with wonderful, realistic characters and a fascinating, sexy plot dealing with ghosts, voodoo, the slave trade and the nature of man. You'll be wrapped up in the intricate weave of the story, and be unable to put it down until you've read to the end. A fantastic book.
