This is one story broken up into two. Tom and Garnet are unhappily married. Tom cheats on her whenever he gets the chance, while Garnet suffers in silence.

This was a short story where Tom visited the past. Whether it is a past life or an ancestor is left until the next story to explain. The majority of the story is Tom thinking about, witnessing, or having sex.
Sexual Science of Magic

A continuation of the first, we see Garnet go back to VisionsPast to speak to the sorcerer there where she learns more about her and Tom’s past. The explanations for much of the first story can be found her, as well as a wrapping up of the two.
The view of past lives, and the idea of lovers finding each other after millennia is always fun. I found the behavior and acceptance of the fact a bit pat, however. I would have liked to see it more explored.
