Sable likes her freedom. She has no intention of finding a man and settling down. Gage is ready for just that. After years of quick liaisons, he is ready to find Ms. Right and make a future with her. The attraction between the two of them is undeniable, but neither wants what the other does. There is no hope for them.
I enjoyed this book, and found it an easy read. The attraction between Gage and Sable is strong, and confuses both of them to varying degrees. Sable’s determination to get what she wants, and Gage’s attempts at denying what he wants were extremely entertaining, and kept the book moving forward. The way Sable found herself doing things she knew she shouldn’t be doing, or when she had planned on doing something different was completely believable and realistic. I will look for more books by Ms. White.
