Life fascinates Mary Ellen, but only at a distance. She is a hiker, jogger, photographer, enjoys the things that life has to offer, but doesn’t seem to actually be living it. She seems to live in a bubble that people occasionally bump up against. Even her sexy next door neighbor, Kyle isn’t allowed in.
This was not your run of the mill contemporary romance. No beating hearts, pulsing loins and breathless expectation. What there was, was self denial, self discovery and finally self acceptance. This is not a book for someone looking for a sweet little romance, but if you want something more, something different, then this might be the book for you.
