Warrior Silver SanMartin loses her brother and her clan to a devious
murderer and assassin. When he orders her to assassinate the Lord of
Wood, Jetre Atraud, she decides instead to throw herself at his
mercy and beg him to help her kill Cirin and free the Metal from his
rule.
Can Jet trust this woman? Her beauty distracts him and the longer he
has her as his prisoner the more confused she makes him. Can he
trust her after he learns all of her secrets? Will he be able to
defend Wood and convince the others to unify?
Lords of Ch'I takes place in the future when the world settles into
four remaining clans doing what they can to survive. But fear rules
them all and they don't look upon unification willingly.
From page one I was riveted. The world and characters are so well
written you practically see Traier and the characters as if they
actually exist. There is non stop action and sexual tension that
will have you turning page after page. When I reached the end I was
frustrated that it was over so soon. Jet is one sexy hero and Silver
is not your typical heroine. She is smart, beautiful and doesn't
pull any of those too stupid to live acts. I highly recommend this
book.
