Susan ended a five year relationship with a two-timing bastard just about a year ago, and moved to Fresno to start fresh, reading Tarot cards at a New Age store. She hasn’t had the desire to date since, despite attempts by her friends to get her to do so. That is until she meet unbeliever Max.
This was a nice short read. Ms. Wylde set up Susan’s back story well, but we learned very little of Max. I found the mixture of contemporary New Age mixed with the more paranormal possibilities a bit jarring, as they didn’t seem to go together too well, but I really enjoyed the inclusion of the ghosts.
