Jessica Bradley is 24 and has only one year left of college and then
she can get a job working for the National Forestry Service. When
Mike Logan needs a place to stay Jessica hopes that she can find a
way to see if she has a chance with him.
The story was cute, but it was a little slow for me. We got to see
more points of view than were necessary, like characters who play
minimal parts. What also made the story seem so slow was that there
were at least two instances where a paragraph would last a full
page. I thought that the only thing keeping these two apart was the
author. Ms. Janz descriptions of the Oak Creek Canyon were great, I
could almost picture myself there. Unfortunately there wasn't much
in the plot to keep me interested in the story, but the ending is
sweet. If you want to read a story like the romances you read in
high school you would enjoy this.
