Alexander Frost loves his best friend Jeri, and has since they went to high school together. Only problem is, she sees him as only a friend. Jeri is 28, sexy and can have any man she wants. And the man she wants is the stud from high school that has recently returned home. This is her chance to prove she isn’t the fat girl anymore, and damn her if she isn’t gonna take it.
I loved this book. It made me laugh, get angry, and feel mushy. Jeri was pissing me off through over half the book, yet somehow by the end I managed to forgive her insecurities and blind spots, and love her as much as I did Zander. Zander is the kind of friend and lover we all wish we had, and just a few of us lucky enough to actually find. I am now on the hunt for more books by Ms. Fisher.
