Suburban housewife and mum Helen is worried that she's not sexy enough these days for her handsome husband. Worried that he'll stray in an office full of young, nubile women, she's determined to show him she's still hot – but her attempts at seduction go hilariously wrong, making him weak with laughter rather than lust. Touched that she's gone to so much effort for his sake, Jason shows her how much he appreciates her as his wife and mother of his children – first in the bedroom, and later on, during a business dinner with one of his colleagues.
This is a light-hearted short story showing us a glimpse of life, one moment in time in an ordinary relationship. The characters are written with verve and sympathy, and you'll love the genuine affection between Jason and Helen. A lovely quick read.
