When Jenny wakes up in a strange bed in the arms of a hunky farmer, Rob, she wonders what on earth she's doing. She's been in England less than 24 hours, and when her car broke down, Rob came to her assistance – and now she's in his bed! But she didn't come to Sussex for great sex: she's here to interview elusive rock legend Billy Dreamsinger for a celebrity magazine in the hopes that she can build her journalist career from the scoop.
Rob is sure that Jenny is meant for him. He doesn't want to see her walk out of his life, so when her interview is put back by a day, he's overjoyed. He falls in love with her and proposes, but she's afraid it's going too fast. Rob is more afraid of what could happen to her at the interview – Billy Dreamsinger is in hiding after several rape allegations. His fears are soon realised when, at the interview, Billy drugs Jenny – can she escape the lecherous star and can Rob come to her aid again?
This is a fun, fast read, light-hearted and sexy, that really sparkles with warmth and humour. There's a real sense of place and feeling, and the characters are wonderfully drawn, particularly the two leads. Add some great, sizzling hot sex scenes, and it adds up to the perfect lunchtime read.
