Catching Shadows by Jewel Adams

Not only does Charity have really hot dreams, but now she sees the
shadows that move, and a man in her bedroom. After several
unsuccessful attempts to escape from the shadows, she stops
fighting, and ends up traveling back in time where Charity meets
Jacob, and his daughter Lissa. At first Jacob mistakes Charity for
his wife, but even after he realizes she isn't his adulteress wife,
Charity agrees to stay with him and Lissa as wife and mother. She
didn't plan on the ghost of his wife appearing to her, and Rose's
murderer coming after her.
Ms. Adams crafts believable characters that will steal your heart,
and have you hoping nothing bad will happen to them.

Allie thought this would be an easy rescue mission. She'd get into
the lab, find her mother, and rescue her. Unfortunately, her mother
isn't there. Allie kidnaps Max and offers to trade him for her
mother. The bad guys have no intention of agreeing to her terms.
Allie is caught by surprise when she learns her mom was bait to
capture her!
This was a fast paced book with plenty of action, and wonderful
twists and turns. I'm only sorry the book ended so quickly.
Vampire Beach Resort by Sally Painter
Genre: Adult, Romance, Paranormal

Emma jumps at the chance to earn nine months pay in three months
time. Until she finds out that VBR stands for Vampire Beach Resort,
and that vampires really exist. Alex turns out to be her dream
lover, and she finds herself torn between the two worlds. She needs
to decide if she loves him enough to overcome her fear of death and
become vampire.
This is a great sexy read. I was drawn into the tale, and held
captivated, until the heroine said one thing, but acted another way.
I was terribly disappointed in her and wanted to put the book down.
I kept reading anyway, and she did manage to redeem herself in the
end.
