Detective Cameron Wyler needs to recover. He can't return to work
until he's fully healed, emotionally as well as physically from
wounds received from an ambush on him and his partner. He plans on
giving the reward money to the woman who gave them the tip that
enabled them to catch the bad guy, but he can't find her. Stuck in
Maine, what he does find is Gertrude Prescott.
This story is full of hot sex, and fun dialogue. I loved the
interaction between Cam and Trudy. It was enjoyable to read just for
their verbal spats. Their sex life was very intense, but towards the
end the book began to feel like it was the only thing they had going
for them. The variety of ways they found to spend their weekend of
pleasure never grew dull, but I was tired for them.
