How to get your book reviewed by Enchanted Ramblings

First of all, thanks for wanting to be reviewed by us!

We aim to keep our reviews both honest and helpful to both readers and writers alike. We can't promise that you'll receive 6 wands, but we can promise that we'll be as positive as we can.

What happens once I submit my book for review?
When your book is received, it is entered on a date-stamped list. All our reviewers are able to choose which titles they wish to read, or are allocated the titles on the list. We try to match reviewer to book, to make sure each title is properly appreciated: see 'How to Request a Review', below.

Do you only review new books?
No. We review back-listed titles, as well as ARCs and current releases.

Is there a limit to how many books I can submit?
No, BUT we do ask that individual authors don't bombard us with hundreds of titles at once: when that happens, we 'spread' your reviews between other titles, so you don't dominate our review page - in practice, this means that it will take some time (perhaps months) for your complete list of titles to be reviewed.

How to Request a Review

Send an email to erreviews@enchantedramblings.net, as follows:

The subject line should be in the format:

"Request: [Author name] // [Title]"

for example:

"Request: Mrs. Anne Other // A Great Adventure"

The body of the email should contain the following information (plain text is preferred):

Title:
Author:
Publisher:
ISBN: [if relevant]
Page Count:
Genre(s):
Published Date:
Purchase link: [this should be the link where people can buy your book, if available]
List Price:
Blurb:

Optionally, you may wish to supply:

Author home page:
Publisher home page:
Plus any additional information about either the author or book (such as whether this is an ARC).

If your book is a print book, please state this in the email, and we will respond with a postal address.

If the book is an ebook, please include this with your request, preferably as a PDF document. We will, if forced, accept Word Documents or HTML files. Please send no more than three ebooks per email.
Under NO circumstances send emails that total more than 5Mb - your email will bounce.

For extra brownie points from our web-mistress...
If you can, please attach cover art as a JPG (ideally 200 pixels wide). This is not a requirement, but it makes her life easier :-)
