Editor's Note for Issue 2 Yet Halloween is more than just a day fun and games for little children. It's also a celebration of All's Hallow's Eve, a night known for great power. A night where the veil between earth and the after life is thin enough to allow contact with your departed loved ones. Halloween is also considered a night most holy. A night where Vampires, Demons and Other Creatures of the night halt all evil. It's a night of peace, a truce of sorts. Hell everyone needs one night off to recharge their batteries and ready themselves for the year of mischief that lays ahead. When choosing a theme for this issue, I couldn't seem to pick just one. I simply adore the entire concept of Halloween in all it's forms, so I chose five: Trick or Treat, The Witching Hour, Something Wicked, Celtic New Year, and All Saints Day. I decided I'd let the writers decide. The responses were interesting, and quite educational. It seems I wasn't the only one who couldn't decide on a single theme. Next year I believe I'll petition to have Halloween declared a National Holiday, I don't think we should be forced to work on such a special day. Do you? I hope you enjoy this issue as much as I do.
